TRUDESIGN Skin Fitting Recessed - Glass Reinforced Nylon

TruDesign specialises in the design, tooling, manufacture of marine composite valves and fittings and has become the industry benchmark for high-quality marine products. All TruDesign products are Survey Approved.

TruDesign® Fittings are molded from glass fiber reinforced nylon composite. High strength, high-modulus glass fibres impregnated into the nylon provide dramatic strength, stiffness, toughness and dimensional stability.

These properties allow a significant weight reduction over metallic fittings. TruDesign® Fittings eliminate the corrosion and electrical bonding problems associated with metallic fittings.

All Skin Fittings are supplied with a nylon washer to increase locknut support on through hull assembly.

TruDesign Skin Fittings with Tail are certified by the International Marine Certification Institute (IMCI) & Bureau Veritas to meet; ISO 9093-2 Small craft - Seacocks and through-hull fittings - Part 2: Non- metallic.

• TruDesign accepts no responsibility for Ball Valves or Skin Fittings which are improperly installed, especially in the case where a Ball Valve with tapered threads has been used.

Returns policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at chandlery@bosuns.com.au. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
